Living with brands by Hulsbosch
You wake up in the morning with a cup of Nerada tea, have a shower provided by Sydney Water and put your KOi Body Lotion on. You turn on the Channel 7 news and see a new baby elephant at Taronga Zoo. You make your breakfast bought at Woolworths and step outside to water the flowers with a Nylex water hose.
While outside you feed your dog breakfast with Woofin’ Good; his favourite!
You leave the house you bought from Stockland, look up in the sky to see a Virgin Australia and a Qantas plane. You step in your Volvo, turn on the radio and listen to the latest business reports on AMP, Bankers Trust, Colonial, GIO, MLC, Spirit Super, ING and Zurich.
You drive past a Dexus building and drive into the Chifley Tower car park. You grab a coffee and at the newsagent buy from The Lott a Powerball ticket. At work, you turn on your Apple computer and open your Marbig notepad your assistant bought at Officeworks.
A colleague is not well and, in the office, ‘passing of the hat’ you make a donation to the McGrath Foundation.
You go to the toilet, cleaned with Toilet Duck; you wash your hands with Dettol and dry your hands with Kleenex.
At midday you put on some UV Triplegard and go for a run in the Royal Botanic Gardens and have a Gatorade afterwards. Having recently redeemed your birthday voucher, the new sports shoes from Rebel are a success.
For lunch, you go with your financial adviser from Perpetual to the Bayside Lounge at the Sydney Convention Centre and call your lawyer at Allens Linklaters. Walking back to the office you try-out a new digital interactive outdoor sign by QMS Media.
After work, when you leave the car park you pay with eftpos, think of a holiday in a far-away Sofitel hotel and coming home to an ice cold Tooheys. Instead, you decide to have a Tia Maria or maybe a Campari, decisions, decisions.
During your meal from the Coles Kitchen range, you have an Oatley wine and for dessert a Streets ice cream.
Eating a packet of Thins, you flick between watching a race replay of a V8 Supercars race and a Socceroos game from Suncorp stadium followed by a performance of The Australian Ballet. When it’s time for bed you brush your teeth with Sensodine and fall asleep dreaming of a Royal Caribbean cruise to the South Pacific.
What is the one common denominator?
Every day of your life you engage with a company, product or service designed by influential Australian brand design agency Hulsbosch.
